Buckhead Baseball
Branding and wayfinding system
Buckhead Baseball is a youth baseball club located in Frankie Allen Park, Atlanta. This project is designed to promote the neighborhood– Garden Hills. Buckhead Baseball need a brand identity that can speak to the youths, and it also needs a wayfinding system to make Frankie Allen Park a better place for baseball in order to attract more people to Garden Hills and make it a better neighborhood.
Problems
1. The logo of Buckhead Baseball doesn’t speak to the target audience age group.
2. No wayfinding system in the park, but there are a lot of fields with different functions and for different age groups, and it’s hard to find a specific one field if a person is not familiar with the park.
Solution
Making a new identity system for Buckhead Baseball
to match the main audience’s age group and creating
wayfinding system. I got inspiration for the identity from the satellite map of this park, and developed a wayfinding system based on the map.
